You should report an incident to us immediately if any of the following occur:
You suspect identity theft or unauthorized access to your tax documents
You accidentally sent sensitive information (SSN, tax forms) to the wrong contact
You received suspicious emails or calls claiming to be from Texas Tax Heroes™
Your tax return contains errors you just noticed
You submitted incorrect information during intake
You received a notice from the IRS that doesn’t match your records
You’re unable to access your client portal
Uploads or document previews aren’t working
You receive system errors or bugs when using our online tools
You’re unhappy with a service experience
You want to report unprofessional behavior
You have concerns about a delayed response

A brief description of the issue
The date it occurred
Any screenshots or IRS letters (if applicable)

If it’s after hours, leave a voicemail with your name, callback number, and a summary of the issue.
Log in to your client portal and send a secure message directly to your preparer.
All incident reports are logged, reviewed, and handled by our compliance team. If the issue involves sensitive information, we will initiate a response protocol to protect your data and assist in resolution.
